Actually, there was a lot of travelling between planets. MM1 was on VARN-4, MM2 was on CRON, MM3 was on Terra, MM4 and MM5 were on XEEN, MM6, MM7 and MM8 were on Enroth, MM9 was on Axeoth. MM7 good ending also suggest other planets available, but since we haven't heard from those people who discovered the gate, they probably went into a Kreegan world and were killed, or maybe never found their way back to Enroth.
