My only thought is that someone has maybe hoarded cash the whole time, as opposed to others who may have bought up big

Funny!

Actually, TT was dead on with the IRS comment.

He who hath Grail gets taxed a little. Others however that made investments in investment property might see what has accumulated over the last 10 months or so... Auctioneer is still determining the marketplace.

The remainder of the bonus will likely be spread out.

So far we have spent 722,693 GP which puts us at about 277,000 for the final lot. So far the people who have signed up have roughly 201,000 GP of cashflow left which means that I have about 75,000 to give out. Some of that will change if everyone signs up since the bonus will have to go backwards but I will cross that bridge if I reach it.

Keep bidding. Please sign up for the final lot prior to Midnight November 1.

I will close the sign ups soon.

gravylur that's not fair! I waited patiently through 14 lots seeing others spend their money on (in my opinion) not-so-good artifacts just so that I could claim those I really wanted in lot 15 unopposed. If you're distributing bonuses I hope you can do it evenly, not by how many items one has bought.

I don't expect to be able to buy anything at all in the last lots, simply because everyone will be trying to spend all of his money. Still, I am happy with the stuff I bought - a nice mix of cheap and expensive items that will let me rule the Round Table :-))

Apprentice's Handbook - 500 - can't believe I could get it so cheap, it's such an awesome artifact!
Hideous Mask - 27310 - somewhat pricy, but as it is the best artifact in the game...
Spider's Silk Arrows - 12000 - obviously it should be at least a Major artifact and not a mere Treasure
Flaming Arrow - 9000 - I didn't actually want this one, but at 9k it's a bargain.

You slightly overpriced everything in my opinion ThunderTitan. Most of those aren't worth that much.

pepak - I think you paid too much for the Spider's Silk Arrows. Spider's Silk Arrows is good but not that much (might as well use Valder's Crossbow of Sloth). But you definitely scored bargains with the Apprentice's Handbook and Flaming Arrow. Both are good items and you sure got them cheap.

Actually, I think it is way superior to Valder's Crossbow - slowing down units is easy enough to do, but if they are flying it won't help you much (even their reduced speed is quite high, and their flying over the obstacles is a pain). Spidersilk Arrows solve the second problem and prepare a way for Quicksand...

An Auction? Fair?

Spending all your money early or overpricing is not great but I also warned several times about hording cashflow. Your money will be safe but you already received bonuses throughout the auction for making some purchases. You may not have earned another bonus like some others have.

Short Answer? No. The "bonus" money will not distributed equally, however it should make sense to most everyone.
