:lolu:

Ghost Dragons were the weakest Level 7, hands down. The special had a 20% chance to trigger, which meant it seldom happened...
...unless you put them in multiple stacks.

man, it's been like 7 years since i last played HommIII, and one of the few things i remember was being afraid of multiple stacks of ghost dragons.

Necropolis players don't have that many stacks to spare- Wraiths and Zombies can be left behind, but what else?

You should have seen them in previous games.
Do you think vamps need buffing?
nah vamps are quite strong already. I find necro impossible to lose even with 1.3 (played on hard everytime)

personally, i never lost a single vampire unless I allowed it to happen

they're pretty much the best self sustaining unit in the whole game, with decent damage and hit points

u mean h3 wraiths...

I always hated Bone/Ghost Dragons... the h3 and h5 versions suck...

h4 version is quite nice

yeah vampires are one of the key units in the nec strategy with skels and liches, so , since it is impossible to have a special for these two, lucretia ends up being the best hero ( not against necro ).
The others are useful too, but nothing beats 200 vampres, self regenerating, while u raise skels or liches ...
and yes nec has 3 assault units, and death march has its uses, otherwise necropolis is a defensive faction, ment to be so. It is why defense is their strong value.
I support(ed?) Nival... flame on !!!
The truth pure and simple is seldom pure and never simple...

You must not have played too many good Wizards yet. Kind of a pain when you're fighting all constructs/elementals. You don't get any skeletons out of it, and the poor vamps have to rely on Raise Dead, which isn't good for them.
