Bugs in HV...

Oh man,how much I love horned overseers blowing their own ranks!I fought two overseer stacks,and one of them exploded destroying the other.But both already were enraged. :devil:

About a possible bug

I´m playing the campaigns again, now at hard and after Godric releases Isabel (C1M5) I send HER to fight for the castle (this time I know better than improving Godric!). After the battle, the AI says it´s Godrics who achieves a higher level!! +Two levels!! But it was Isabel fighting...

Is this a bug?

No.For solving quests all of your heroes get the XP,so both isabel and godric got the XP,but it was only godric that had enough to get a new level.

This isnt a bug,but an AI flaw.Still:

Anyway,I have autocombat on and had a fight with 1000 something conscripts.The result was that I lost a dragon,so I replayed it.I clicked autocombat,but I lost no units this time :| I checked this again against 90 hellhounds.Quick combat-grim rider dead,autocombat-flawless 8| I checked it once more against 400 something hell hounds and again quick combat-4 dead hydras,auto combat-flawless 8| 8| 8|

Quick combat in most tbs games ignores range and landscape.

While most bugs are annoying and some even gamebreaking,this one is simply hillarious:

I have located a major bug in this game...I have the collectors ed. and the imbue arrow spell does not work...i remeber having played the normal ed. where i could imbue arrow with ex. an ice bolt and then shoot at the enemy to see that an icebolt would hit them too...then i got the collectors ed. and then nothing happens when you imbue an arrow and shoots...

please can someone fix this major bug..otherwise there is not really any idea of having the power....

Did you take deadeye shoot?Imbue arrow doesnt work without it or the rain of arrows.

I have the same problem, the ability need to be fixed so it can only be chosen when it makes sense.

Anyone experienced this bug?

It only happens when it comes to my grffins/imperial griffins. They will just disappear from the initiative bar from time to time, sometimes before their turn, during, and sometimes after

Eg. It comes to their turn and before their turn, let's say I see that they have 3 turns after that on the bar, but the pic just disappears when it comes to their turn so sometimes I find it very irritating since I cant plan out my battle dive without knowing when it comes down.

Only happened since 1.3

You mean their picture disappears even when they dont dive?They disappear when up in the clouds as far as I know.

After patch 1.4 Heroes always crashes when a gated creature is killed on my computer. I see that others have the same problem. Is this a problem in HOF as well? I have ordered HOF just before I discovered this problem.

Hall of Fame

It seems the bug for single player map scores not going into the Hall of Fame is back for Hammers of Fate.

I just finished the map Former Friends, and I was not taken to the Hall of Fame (or whatever it's called now.)
I know it was patched for HV, but I was surprised to see it back in HOF.

I only get the single player map scores on maps that came with HOF itself. custom maps don't get it.

I have not had this occur in HOF, over many combats with gated and phantomed critters.

not saying it will never occur, but over 30 combats with gated familiars getting whacked out on retaliation strikes, it never locked up on me.

But Former Friends is a map that came with HOF.
I had to figure out which maps were which so that the Hazardous Combat Mod wouldn't crash my game.

weird; I've tried 3 HOF maps so far, and got the high score screen all 3 times.
