Auction will be closing soon... Following a break maybe we could start an auction for Expansion items, HOMM5 items or we could have Bachelor/Bachelorette auction for Heroes of Heroes of Might and Magic (I'm guessing a55a55in will spend all his cash on Emilia Nighthaven)

I wouldn't mind a H5 auction
(in which I can actually participate from round 1 ).

AFAIK, the only auction has been the HOMM4 one.

It would be nice though...that or the revival of Caladont :-D (or a similar word game).

I'd like a brain teasing game. I need to exercise my brains a bit.

I have no idea on how exactly to make it :(

Try clicking the "New Topic" Button - located just to the left of the "Post Reply" Button. :D

Actually, Caladont is running. But I seem to remember seeing somewhere around here that we are not allowed to answer more than once every 5 turns??? Was that it? So at least 5 people need to be playing.

Never mind! Winter just answered my question.

hehe. I know how to create it. :-D

What I don't know is how exactly to make it like (the stuff it should have, what it should be about, that kind of thing). :)

Somebody must take over the Caladont game. Who will take on that responsibility? :)

But be aware! :| Great power comes with great responsibility. (bility, bility, bility, bility, lity, lity, ty)

Pretty simple. Someone writes a word. The next person has to write a new word that starts with at least the last two letters, in that order, (but more is better) of the previous word. Your word scores 1 point for every letter of the prior word that was used. If you use the entire prior word in your word, you get a point bonus (I think, 5 points?). No word may be used more than once in a round. No proper names may be used. Also, the new word cannot use the same root as the prior word (example, if the word is swim, I cannot use swims, swimming, swimmer, etc.; but if the word is thin, I can use thing, because that's a new word).

For instance, if the word is bramble, my word could be leads (two points), bled (three points), ambles (five points) or rambles (six points).

Round ends after so many mistakes are made. Person with the most points wins.

Thanks PandaTar ;). But, how to make it? I'm open to suggestions (especially since you can't play most games alone :D).

Bachelors (and Bachelorettes) of CH would be an interesting game. Even willing to run it (and not participate though I think it would be fun). Hehe how much do you think you are worth (in fictional currency lol). Would also need volunteers and such *giggles* could be interesting.

The only thing I would worry about is hard feelings if somebody did not get bid on. So maybe a Mystery Bachelor (and Bachelorette) where a small snippet (supplied by the bidee) is all you know about who you are bidding on hehe.
