New Necromancy Perks suggestion
A common complaint I've heard about the new Necromancy is the lack of Dark Energy Points. What about adding six new perks, each lessening the Dark Energy requirement for each tier(except 7) by 10%? War Machines->Bone Reassembler --Requires Eternal Servitude and First Aid Tent, reduces Skeleton DE co...

I think Dark Magic is a good choice for Isabel and Knights in general. With Fallen Knight (+5 SP to Dark Spells, -1 Morale), she can cast decently lasting Blindness and Puppet Master spells, and the really useful Mass Slow/Weakness/Confusion/Suffering spells. Leadership offsets the -1 Morale. I feel...

Academy Mage guilds focus on Light and Summoning Magic. You will always get one Light and one Summoning spell per level. The extra spells from the Library are randomly either Destruction or Dark. You cannot get two level 4 or two level 5 Light spells, nor can you get two level 4 or two level 5 Summo...

I posted about this in the main Buglist thread. It seems to be related to the Instant Travel spell on AI heroes. Try loading your game, using the cheat for infinite movement and kill off the enemy heroes who are level 15 or higher. If that allows the computer to end its turn properly, which it did f...

I considered using Gargoyles before, but being the stingy guy I am, I never recruit them and keep all the gold for other stuff. I feel that other than fighting Druids they would be useless except maybe as retaliation soaker/tank. However, I have started using Golems against caster neutrals. It is re...

Ah yes I hate losing Mages too, but with 18 hp it is extremely hard to avoid losing one. Archmages have 30 which I think is a real big boost. I know that all caster creatures work better when split. That's why I absolutely detest fighting neutral Druids/Druid Elders. They are usually split into stac...

I'd like to suggest another strategy. By week 2 you can get 10 Mages on Day 1, by building the Mage Tower on Week 1 Day 7. Put all the Gremlins in one stack, Golems if you use them, and split the Mages into as many stacks as possible. The multitude of Fists of Wrath allow you to clear neutrals reall...

Your guide says this under Galib; "taking Soldier's Luck will trigger it much more often", that was what I was referring to when I said Soldier's Luck doesn't work on Magic Mirror or his specialty. That is erroneous and should be changed to avoid confusing players. I agree that Mass Vulner...

Nice guide. A few comments... I tried Faiz and the additional damage from his Vulnerability is just too insignificant, early game or otherwise. The damage is 10xHero Level. I found that it didn't really change anything. I also tried Galib, but quickly realised that his specialty is quite limited too...
