Sanctuary's creatures are well-made but the faction as a whole does not look very spectacular as far as I'm concerned. Still it's better than the girlish Sylvan.
As for "favourite", I voted Inferno, even though it is not really impressive. Just the rest are even less impressive.

]Meh. Imo Efreets fit perfectly in Inferno since they're supposed to be malevolent creatures in traditional mythology - even assiocated with devils in islam iirc. Gogs were alright, maybe a bit boring... Having only demon creatures in HoMM 5 was too much for me, I want more diversity. And the new p...

Of course i haven't because i'm in no position to carry out a decades long test about social expectations of the role of women and how it affect their inclinations. But i did bring out enough data for a reasonable person to admit that social causes are a likely explication for it... Well, for someo...

First of all excuse me that I don't have smart-o-sarcastic pictures at hand to start my post. You'll have to do with text only. So why are we arguing after you admitted that there is a problem IRL... Because you are yet to prove that this has anything to do with the low number of women joining the a...

What, you never heard about winning an argument?! Yes, and you about self-conviction? ;| Then, as pointed out before, at least in the US, women aren't allowed in combat roles, thus are discriminated against... end. And of course I already said that this can be considered discrimination, but why bot...

so i guess i won... You're a funny guy, I'll give you that. Like this is some sort of competition. I guess I'm right about the part that you're desperately trying to show to the others how smart you are. Anyway. If we're talking about women joining the army in any capacity We aren't. Pure combat on...

2 and 3 are true. Women are kept away from combat for reasons that are not scientifically valid. Women are treated unfairly in that they are subject to more sexual harassment and abuse. Your assertion about there being a quota is baseless. You're talking about an increase from 6 female creatures to...

But you fail to see how discrimination against women from childhood to adulthood leads to differences between men and women joining the military. There's also the fact that sexual harassment and abuse of women in the military is extremely prevalent. As for the female quota, that's just based on you...

If you're not then you have moved past your original point and are discussing something very different... No, that's what you're thinking but it's none of my concern that you aren't reading other people's posts carefully and are having a discussion with some prejudiced incarnation of The-One-Who-I-...

Yeah, it's not like you're ignoring how necessity, like in the case of the israelis, trumps the social norms that exclude women from mandatory recruitment in most places, and very likely lead to low voluntary recruitment... It's not like I'm talking about necessity at all. But you can go ahead and ...

The only reason why women get offered and accept less money is because there are still deep seated social norms affecting us, no matter how much we say they're not... Hence why women aren't into joining the army and why you think they're not made for it in the first place... You aren't saying anyth...

and the only Dragon in a faction... The Bone Dragons? ;) They might as well be stronger in a 1v1 scenario. Why not? Appropriately balance the rest of the faction. As far as math goes, the H3 Dungeon lineup was lacking in almost every department until Black Dragons came in the equation. Actually the...

Also, women still make on average less money then men... they must not want money right. What does this have to do with the army? Generally (just generally but with many exceptions) this is so, but you're bridging discrimination in general with discrimination (actually the lack of such) in one part...

I wouldn't support the idea of a Black Dragons made equal with the Pit Fiends and some Angel plebs, they have always been a symbol of power. Their position in Heroes III was the best for me - very strong monsters with unique tactical application but still couldn't win against some of the other tier ...

@zenofex: I think you take for granted the socialization of gender roles and the more covert forms of oppression I do but you will have a very hard time proving that the women feel oppressed because there are much more male than female soldiers. And what sezerp said is not discriminative at all. Da...

It had Minotaurs, Hydras and Black Dragons, that's what Dungeon is pretty much, those three creatures, regardless of terrain, heroes or the rest of the lineup (only H3 removed Hydra). It's more about personal preference here. I don't buy the underground Hydra (even though the model is well-made act...
