That sounds more like a viral problem than a meteorological one.

Re: Our New Forum

Nice to have modern features, but the look is incredibly generic.
I'll miss the dark background options, so easy on the eyes.

There's another game in that likeness ... hm ... Legend of Grimrock (1 and 2). It has some great reviews. Grimrock 1 was also a good old-school RPG, but more in the vein of Eye of the Beholder than Might and Magic. They are very different kinds of games. If nothing else, MMX is completely turn-base...

I loved the game. I thought they nailed the classic MM gameplay, atmosphere, and difficulty. Most fun I had with an RPG in a while. I would gladly play another just like it.

Someone told me he had a very delicate health and that he was under a very serious moment - one of those people usually don't get away from. I also do hope that it wasn't the case. Yes, that is true - but he still stopped by once in a while to update us on how things were going. But it's been quite...

Mytical hasn't made an appearance at HC in ages. I do hope everything is OK.

I was previously led to believe the compatibility of the PS3 controller with PC was fairly poor - this is not the case?

Yes Demons Souls. So, maybe I shouldn't hold that experience against Dark Souls, I don't 'know. It's been on my Steam wishlist for a while and I've seen it for as little as $5. I probably would have just bought it and given it a whirl but I've heard the PC port isn't fantastic, particularly mouse su...

You mean the crestfallen warrior, right? High level npc, low level player. He does warn you after striking him once. Attacking someone without consequences would kind of defeat the realism. It's an early teacher that the game has little cushions. It's not ideal but you can proceed to the next bonfi...

Problem is, you just can't progress in a game like that if you are limited to 30 minute game sessions. I need games where I can make reliable progress in 30-40 minutes. Even if it's small progress. And when I say, "punishing in places it didn't need to be", I refer to situations like where...

I really tried to like Demons Souls on PS3, but I just found it obnoxiously difficult, and not in a good way. Cheap deaths and unforgiving in places where it didn't need to be. It felt like it was just trying to be difficult for the sake of being difficult, which seems to defeat the purpose of a gam...

@Orzie The Last Hope campaign is already being made into a H3 campaign, at least for WoG. It is actually quite a bit different from the H2 counterpart, with a significantly more detailed story world. Currently four maps have been released, but new versions of these are in the works, and map 5 is abo...

My previous computer was a laptop I intended to be used for gaming. I recommend against it. I spent a small fortune for a computer that performed half as well as a desktop, and it weighed almost 20 pounds, which meant it wasn't exactly easy bring everywhere I wanted to take it. The bottleneck is the...

My pleasure. I am working on updates (significant ones) of some of these WoG maps at the moment. Hopefully I will have more information soon on those.
